We are used to watch killer robots on Sci-fi movies and video games, now it is a reality that militaries worldwide are developing fully autonomous weapons using artificial intelligence.

Killer Robots, according with the convention, don’t exist yet.
But the technology to use an algorithm to make a decision about shooting when and whom does.
The goal behind Killer Robots or the formal term (Fully autonomous weapons) is to use artificial intelligence, including facial recognition and decision-making algorithms to decide whether a person (target) should receive an attack, in some cases lethal.
In terms of PRVCY that is a treat, especially if we are always sharing our exact location, activities and faces that can be easily access from a server, and these weapons would be able to select and engage us as the target without meaningful human control.
Since years ago, countries like China, Israel, South Korea, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States are already using precursors such as armed drones. Where human controllers decide when these drones will fire in operations, like war, protests and covid lockdowns.
In the future a Killer Robot would be less than Terminator and more like a drone with bullets.
There are serious doubts about the benefits of Killer Robots, in the advance of technology. These weapons will make it easier and cheaper to kill people — a serious problem all by itself in the wrong hands.
Think about how accessible is today to buy a drone in comparison with 10 years ago. Now you have drones flying around you in your house, work, or vacation destination, collecting data about how are you living and what are you doing, through the camera that is save in servers forever.
In terms of governmental purposes, if we combine the digital ID with the digital wallet with Killer Robots we will see the public trend to use technology to control us based on fear and available data. Seems like they’d be disproportionately useful for ethnic cleansing, genocides and mass control.

- Use hats, sunglases and umbrellas to prevent surveillance camera to take biometric data from you.
